The Best of 2004
As another year passes, it is time to review the year. I will indulge what I liked and maybe what I didn't like. (In reality I am not going against the title of the page by having the worst, because they will be the best at being the worst in their category. =)) So here we go along with reasons.

Best CD -- Ciara - Goodies. I cannot stop spinning this cd. It is that good. It is not all Crunk n B. It has some more contemporary R n B on the disc. Best tracks have to be 1. My Goodies and 12. The Title. Ciara has proven that she can be a hitmaker. I will admit that her voice is not that strong at all. I was let down by Destiny's Child this year. Their CD is not at all that good. The Writings on the Wall stands to be their best cd. So that is why Destiny's Child is not the winner. Sorry Eminem, but you lost because a lot of your lyrics have degraded from what i expected. Kanye West was a VERY close second.

Best Movie -- Shrek 2 -- well it's not really fair because I did not see many movies at all this year. The Incredibles possibly could've won, but I did not see it. Nor did I see a lot of movies that could have own. Shrek 2 sort of won by default. Although the cat has got to be a real good runner for character.

Best New Tv Show -- Desperate Housewives -- WOW what a year for television for me. I am infactuated with Veronica Mars and wish she could be my girlfriend, while i envy not being so popular and good looking as Matt Long as Jack in Jack & Bobby, and I hope to never be in the predicament of any of the cabinmates of Lost. Desperate Housewives won because, wow how quirky, witty, and intelligent. Not to mention the beautiful ladies. But, boy oh boy, Veronica Mars was so close. It has intelligent intertwining mysteries. Then there is the intelligent drama Jack & Bobby, which is entertaining because of the well written script and acting. Now Lost is fun for the action.

Best Returning Show -- Gilmore Girls and Less Than Perfect -- Ok how can you not like Gilmore Girls. Dialogue is so fucking intelligent and great. The chemistry and psychology of the mother and daughter relationships is just great. Less Than Perfect is SOOO FUNNY. Lauren Graham and Sara Rue are great. and wow Lauren Graham.... lol.

Best Released Song -- Monica - U Should've Known Better.. oooh Monica your vocals have me. Let's not forget how the well the lyrics work with it.

Best Unreleased Song -- Brandy - Afrodisiac -- Poor Brandy. She faked a marriage and then she flopped so hard with her two released songs. I mean those songs SUCKED. There are so many other quality songs on the cd, say Afrodisiac, I Tried, and Sadiddy. Oh Afrodisiac is so good because the vocal arrangements (not really the vocals) and the beat is just hot.

Best Book -- OK so this is definetely about the books i read. So the list includes: Slaughterhouse 5, In Cold Blood, Oedipus Rex, Antigone, King Lear, Song of Solomon, The Devil in the White City, and some other ones. In Cold Blood won this one. It held my interest so well from after the 30th page to whatever. It is that good. A murder mystery.

Best Site -- Google.com.. Google has helped me so much, from their froogle, mail, image, search, and even translator. It has done so much good.

Best Singer Male or Female -- Of course it is still Monica. She came out with U Should've Known Betta and proved to the rest taht she is still in the game. Others who have tried to come back like Brandy, Mya, Janet, and Tamia have not had that much success. I did not pick Usher because you know we are ALL TIRED of him.

Best Actor/Actress -- Kristin Bell -- She plays Veronica Mars soo well. It is one of the reasons why I watch the show. Without her, the show would be really boring. She has that added flair.

Best I am happy that is over -- Working at Target. I no longer have to deal with cranky customers nor did I have to stay in Retail for the HOLIDAY SEASON. What hell that would have been.

Best Experience Hawaii -- what else could supercede that. I mean really what a once in a life time experience.

WORST OF 2004

Worst Show -- The Swan -- see extreme makeover isn't that bad, at least there is an element of health involved. THE SWAN JUST SUCKS.. lets take these NORMAL people and make them think they are ugly to make them over THEN LETS have them compete. BULLSHIT.

Worst CD -- Any BRITNEY SPEARS cd.. lolz and yes she did release one this year. The greatest hits one.. what crap. she has been in the game for how long and she already got a greatest hits. My prerogative was sooo crap.

Worst Movie -- White Chicks -- only because it was such a let down. I was expecting so much more but i only got the good jokes from the trailers. How sad.

Worst Released Song -- Let's Go - Trick Daddy -- actually there are a lot of songs on the level of this song.. Which is crap. I mean really it is annoying.

Worst Artist Britney Spears -- ehhh.. she tried too hard. I did not care what she did. Her songs grated my ears. Toxic stands to be the only song by her that I listened to.

Worst Site -- Basically anything that has to deal with angelfire lolz or any "amateur" site sans a couple of people's.
