Meeting Notes - 1/14 January meeting at Scoops January 7 steering committee meeting at Scoops, attending Steve Finegold, Marianne Ludwig, Walter Wright, Doug Copeland. Marianne updated us on the account balance for Twifi at TWDC. Current balance is $1588 with $150 due from Joe Cimperman for Breakfast tickets and $1500 due under agreed matching for our fund raising efforts. We sent $100 for annual dues to Cleveland Digital Vision for 2004. We have 3 Tech Soup packages on order and will be paying $597 when money is required. We will also be purchasing power supplies & cords for the laptops, promo materials for the commercial Twifi sites, and vinyl/cling on signs for all user sites. We have clarified the order process and terms with Tech Soup and generated a detailed policy agreement for non-profits. This was done to satisfy the concerns of Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) who is opening a day center for homeless families at Pilgrim Church in January, 2004. We met with Paul Tuttle, Development Director of IHN and addressed all of their concerns in writing; IHN has approved the Twifi/Tech Soup program and has ordered equipment which will be reimbursed by Twifi.
