The St. Ignatius Varsity track
team is looking strong going into
the final weeks of the season.
Solid track and field performances
are being performed by
standouts such as Nate Noll, Jim
Chmelik,
Pat Sovacool,
and more. The
Wildcats
will be a
contender at
states,
and will
have to
run up
against
several
powerhouses of the likes of
Glenville. With strong individual
performances at states, it is very
likely that Ignatius could return
the Ohio High School Athletic
Association State Championship
title back to St. Ignatius
High School. The individuals going
to states are Greg Baitt, Jim
Chmelik, Pat Sovacool, Brian
Kucaj ,
Sean
Kavanagh,
Jason
Palumbo,
Pete
Gadomski,
Brian
Gallagher,
and several
more
Ignatius
standouts.
